Well i have a Wi-Fi connection in my house. It runs preety quickly but my router is on the other side of the house. How do i get my xbox to pick up the wifi so i can play online.:)

So you are suggesting i move my router and modem into my room.
So i can connect my 360 through ethernet, i have already tried that i then
went to test connection it said that my network adapter was connected but ip adress
failed. I was wondering if this had anything to do with the wep settings on my wireless cause it wouldnt let me change it.

You would have to buy the Xbox 360 Wireless Adaptor
(see here http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/supp...=10&order=1&q=wireless+adaptor&searchtype=all)

but they're f'ing expensive.

It does not have in built wireless (which is crazy), but I have heard reports the wireless adaptors work fine (for the most part).

I have my wireless modem sitting on the cabinet above my 360, plugged in via ethernet then a netgear wireless adaptor on my PC.

Best option I'd say.

Head to the xbox forums if you're having trouble setting it up. There's heaps of great advice there.

Good luck :thumbsu:
