Need your help guys!!!

for one of our subjects at uni, we've been designated the task of choosing the venue and theme for our end of year ball.
We've pretty much picked the venue (needs to be big enough for about 500 ppl) but we can't decide on the theme!
some that have been suggested so far include that i can remember include:

- Playboy (altho it would be fun, dont think it would go down well with the board directors for approval - we could organise it ourselves, but we need there $$$ to make it half decent so that means we have to invite them
- Tropical
- 80's
- Hollywood
- Top hats & tiara's

But these are all boring and have all been done before!
We need to have something a little classy, as the venue would be something like the Novetel, Carlton crest etc etc so we'd be paying a bit of $$$ for it

So anyone have any good suggestions???? would be GREATLY appreciated!

From a guys perspective there are 3 things that simply take the cake as far as norty outfits for the fairer sex.

Cowgirl : Little shorts...little tops...MASSIVE BOOTS..Cowboy hate.... RIDE EM!

School girl outfit: Tiny tartan skirt...Tight white top...knee high socks....PIGTAILS...Most guys will realise the beauty in pig tails

Nurses: Could think of anything better than a nurses outfit..mmmmm norty nurses..

How about a Jihad theme?

The blokes can all grow beards, wear (pretend) explosives under their outer garments or in their shoes, and chant "Allahu Akbar" all night.

The lasses can all dress up as the vestal virgins that await the martyrs in the afterlife: Silk veils, belly dance garments, etc.

Apologies if that is perceived to be in poor taste. Actually, now that I think about it, an "arabian knights" theme (without the fundamentalist Islamic overtones) would be a good theme.

I remember the funniest themed party I went to was a Rubick's cube party.

You have to wear one of each of the 6 colours, red, blue, yellow, green, orange and white. Ie red top, blue, trousers, white bra, yellow knickers and blue socks etc etc. The trick is though you have to leave the party wearing all of the same colour!!!
