5aa has the interview as one of it's podcasts but their link is broken. Hopefully they fix it and if so I will post here.

I heard the Craig interview and off memory, basically the conversations were around the expectations for the year, the mid-field and up forward.

In order, he said that we were either re-invigorating, refreshing ( never re-building) our list - 13 new players to the club, but would still have our goals on making the 8.

He stated that Goody would spend a fair bit of time up forward this year, and it was up to the likes of van Berlo, Knights, Douglas and Vince to show they are good enough to take over

As for the forwards he stressed that Sellar and Tippet would get their chance and IMO he meant that they would be playing this Saturday. He also gave Jacky a bit of a wrap and there's no doubt he will be playing.

He gave Symes and Moran a mention and I got the impression that they would be playing as well

Naturally the ruck scene also got discussed but he believes that we have enough talent in that area, although inexperienced.

Trigg was on 5AA tonight and mentioned that we would have 6 players making their AFL debut on Saturday. I'm not sure whether he actually meant that or whether he meant 6 players new to the AFC at AFL level

If it's their AFL debut I see these as being Sellar, Tippett, Jacky, McKay, Gallman and Walker.

If it's their AFC debut then I think it will be Sellar, Tippett, Jacky, McKay, Symes and Moran.

I would say the former.

And this statement from the Crows website backs it up.

'The Crows later today will finalise the 28 player squad for Saturday's game and is expected to name several first-gamers.'

Yes I am sentimental, but i do miss not seeing the Roo and Welsh in the forward lines. :thumbsd:

Apparently 5aa are interview a player, coach or club offficial every night this week leading up to the game. If 5aa podcasts are down, it would be great if someone out there could somehow post a link for all the interviews on here this week.

Did 5aa interview Jacky? Its not on their podcast. I saw the Trigg podcast but no Jacky. Damn.

They did interview Jacky, at about 6.45. I spent most of the time laughing along with Jacky. I will do a little recap later from what I remember in the Locker Room thread.

Last night they had van Berlo with them and I didn't catch all of the interview, but as always he is a very self composed and well spoken young man.

The snippet I heard on the way into work today seems to be that they will talk with Craig again and also Eddie McGuire just after 5pm
