This man is remembered by all true Demon fans as the guy that won us the 1964 premiership, our last one.
He was playing back pocket and had strict instructions to stay in the backline all day. With Melbourne 2 points down and a couple of minutes left, he chased his opponent up the ground into our forward line. He grabbed the ball and snapped it onto his boot and it sailed through. Melbourne won by 4 points over Collingwood.
