well i just hope its better than last year with the sixers
i mean take out game 1 (masterpiece) and take out the game where horry won it for them at the end and the series was a yawn
7 games would be awesome
i just hope a lot of the games go down to the wire like kings-lakers

My initial thought was the Lakers in 4 or 5, but the more I read about the Nets, the more I'm inclined to think this series could go all the way. I still think the Lakers will win, but I can't see the Lakers stopping Kidd, and we've all seen the damage he can cause. Mind you I can't see the Nets stopping Shaq either.

One thing about this series, I'm a one-eyed biased Lakers supporter and everybody here knows it, but I wouldn't be too upset if the Nets won. Sure I'd love the see the Lakers three-peat, but I can't think of anyone, who deserves a championship more than Kidd. He has been brilliant all season, should have won the MVP, and will hopefully get some personal reward by winning the playoff MVP. And Byron Scott was one of my all-time favourite Lakers, and should have won Coach of the Year, so I'd love to see him everybit as successful as a coach as he was as a player. And it would be one of sports great fairytales if the small unfashionable franchise that's never made past the second round in almost 30 years outplay the big glamour franchise that averages a Finals series every second year. Here's hopping for a double overtime victory by the Lakers in game 7.

Lakers in 4, 5, 6 or 7.

I'd be happy if either side won because i'm certain we've got the best team from each division.

If Van Horn can have an impact i'd expect the series to go to 6 games.

hmmm.. as much as i'd like to see a tight series...

i think the lakers should roll through...

i'll give one game to the nets.... (from a j.kidd buzzer beating special)...

lakers in 5

Only reason the Kings stretched the Lakers was because they had Divac and C-Webb to battle with Shaq...the Nets have McCalloch, nuff said, Lakers in 4.

Although, if Michael Jordan got traded to the Nets right now, throwing all trading deadlines and rules out of the way then and only then would the Nets win....somehow i dont think that will happen :D

Nuff said...get out your broom.

That is the dumbest thig you've ever said, and that is a mighty big claim.
If Jordan was traded to the Nets now, the Lakers WOULD WIN IN 4. Jordan is only a shadow of his former self. He'd also throw the chemistry of a very good side into disarray. He'd kill the Nets.

It's time you **** Jordan off, Jod. Get back to the real world.

Lakers in 5 – it’s a common response.

Shaq should dominate. Can't see who is going to give Kidd the help he needs. New Jersey's possible 'it's great to be here' attitude will not help either.

Thats two posts in a row you havent noticed my tongue firmly placed in cheek.

However throwing any superstar onto the Nets roster now would stuff up there chemistry...if Jordan had played with them all season they could beat the Lakers. Thats all the Nets need is a go to guy who can score at will. MJ would be that guy. Plus the defence he demands would free up Kidd to run the show...

I don't seem to have one, you think the Perth Wildcats could lend me theirs?

Correct me if im wrong but arent you a Titans fan or a Tigers fan?? If your a 36ers fan then by all means you can gloat cos you won the title and we didnt but if your not then we are both on the out...

BTW i know who most people go for but you are still a mystery. I dont know who you support NBA wise or NBL wise...i thought you were a Titans or Tigers fan but cant be sure and i have no idea which NBA team you support. Why are you so secretive?

Oh and the Eagles are in the 8...where are Geelong? :D

I saw the smiley face, so I knew what you were doing. I just thought it was stupid. Jordan's era has past, so let's forget the "if he was playing" crap and get back to reality.
