see them run out to their landrovers in droves almost as if they were catching one last trip to the ski slopes ah but wait it still hadn't reached the 20 minute mark of the last quarter where an even bigger wave of tartan rugs and Melbourne thermoses hailed their way to the gates....FUKIN IDIOTS STAY AND WATCH YOUR BOYS! Its against Richmond that u r really needed because they have an incredible Tiger army. I must say at least this time we heard the cheersquad but unlike at Optus Oval where the drunken roars drowned them out a bit.

trust me if i had my way, if anyone left b4 the game was over then id shoot them, but hey i dont have any control.

Those people that left are skanky arse little w***ers that dont deserve to be apart of this club, thay arent the true members or supporters. i think the term is BANDWAGONERS. pathetic excuses for supporters/members they r. i tell u what when i come over in 3 weeks time and if i see people leaving b4 the final siren, then i will cut sick. i know that they r fellow supporters of the club, but i dont care, they should be there until the end, no matter what. AAAAAHHHHHHHH u people that leave early shit me, u really do.

As a Richmond supporter, I was happy. The fact that I spent it next to some Melbourne Supporters who were reasonable and well mannered, made a enjoyable arvo. (not to say supporters are usually not like that).

I don't seem to have much a problem with any Melbourne supporter. I am glad that Melbourne has been able to cordin the Range Rover brigade into the red seat area. Seperates the real supporters from the band wagoners. Yes, they are fickle, but all teams do have those type.

Good luck to Melbourne this year, the rest of my family are Melbourne supporters, I'm the only Tiger

well thats true they seem to be very tame compared to most footy supporters a little too much though. u look at some Melbourne supporters and its as if its just another membership for them alongside the ski club, rabbit shooting club, range rover club etc. The only real passion i ever see at Melbourne is that dude in the cheersuad yelling his heart out and the Melbourne chicks screaming for their favorite players. The rest sit there like corpses oh until the 10 and 20 minute mark of the last quarter of course when they get up and leave!

Well Excuse me, I left, but at least I went which is more than I can say for a lot of other Melbourne supporters. The turnout on Sunday was nothing short of pathetic. There were 45,000 there, if we had 15,000 we were lucky.

well spidey, i must say, that the crowd that was there was ALOT better than the anset cup match when we player the tigers.
i think the dees did ok, but richmond just played better on the day!
any ways, i KNOW FOR SURE that the dees can win next week! so good luck dees, and nicki, look after our boys!

ok a few things... Spidey supporting 4 (oh wait is it 5 now??? or maybe 6??!)teams is hardly what i would call a loyal fan! When i went to the game with you i didn't hear you scream and lose your voice like i did??!!! so what are you on about??? if all you ever do is complain about Melbourne than thanks a lot but one less membership won't hurt the club too much!
Yes i do hate those stupid arseholes who have the nerve to leave before the game is over but i must say that after that stupid decision about Neita's goal people got so upset they left. Ok so its not a good enough reason but so what as least our supporters dont get drunk and as least they don't abuse the opposition (well i do but hey i am allowed to coz i scream my heart out as well

Richmond played better on the day but Melbourne were not shocking and just to see them sticking with it and not giving up was worth the stay so all the supporters who left missed out but hey at the end of the day you do what you are most comfortable with and you shouldn't be the one to critisis them.. especially not you spidey as there is planty at fault with you too.

no at Optus Oval i didn't want to cheer to the extent that made me look like a sad little teeny bopper and ya just rolled yaself coz if u r saying that im not a real supporter with all my memberships then what would that make all u other fans out there who cant even go to one training or one ressies match in fact u can't even stay to the end of a match!

ok well u arent an adult yourself spidey so u really dont have a right to go and call other people a teeny bopper. I dont see how u could even call yourself a loyal fan to any team, u r the biggest bandwagoner of all. Geez no one supports more than one team, and calls themself loyal. doesnt ,matter if u r a member or not. i bet u dont go every week? do u. NO cos u r watching the Pies, or St kilda, or north, or whos the latest, hawthorn maybe. Well i think that it is pathetic how u cant draw your allegiance to one club, like everyone else does.

Not everyone to get to the footy for one reason or another, and just cos we dont go to training doesnt make us less a supporter than the ones that do.

Why dont u get back in your tree with your footy groupies and support your other four or five teams.

except that bit about having a problem with Melbourne...actually i have found them to be one of the best clubs to follow as they always look after the supporters well its just that coming from a club like Collingwood where the level of passion is extremely high i find it a bit of a shock when i go and see Melbourne supporters sitting there, expressionless, blank faces then leaving early. ENOUGH SAID

Spidey, I think they all misunderstand your love of the game.
To these people it would be great if all the other 15 teams just died leaving Melbourne to play with themselves(!)
Some people actually like the game as a whole.
I would never wish any misfortune on any club,(well maybe the bummers!) and i get enjoyment out of watching all games, as I'm sure you do.

Regardless of whether what Spidey has said is valid or not, why did you have to launch a personal attack on her? From Spidey's first post, she didn't personally attack you or any other Melbourne fan on this board. Why didn't you argue against what she said like Dee-Girl 9 did? Is it because there may have been some truth in what she said?

It's pretty much your hallmark DeesRule. When someone nails you in an argument, you attack the person, not their argument. A bit like that talentless git of a fullback you once had....Rod Grinter, no real talent, always went for the man, not the ball.
