Played this last night, came second by one point. I had too many resources at the end which could have been turned into "Aid to the Alliance" but they mismatched the cards available, I didn't leap on it quick enough etc.
The idea is to explore lost tech facilities and establish bases by either paying with economic resources or by force.
The combat system is driven by dice with different distributions of numbers on them, making them weaker or stronger. Green is the weakest with 0 1 1 2 2 3, while red is the highest with 3 4 5 5 6 6.
Roll all of your dice, apply any special powers or tokens and whoever scores the highest wins.

In this photo, the dice on the facilities are what we used to denote a facility with a +2 defence modifier.
