Hi Guys

Just wondering if you could help me.

This afternoon i was planning on purchasing an ipod nano 4GB (my first, feel like i must be the only guy who doesn't have one). My main query is-will it come with a cd driver, or does this come preinstalled on the ipod?
I have a laptop with windows xp home which i plan to use with it, if that helps.

Please can someone help me, i don't want to spend money on something i can't use immediately..

CD Driver?

All the the software to run the ipod is pre installed on it.

However to transfer music to it you need iTunes software for your PC. I don't think they give that to you any more on disc like they used to, you have to download it from the itunes website. Its free but.

The itunes software enables you to rip music from cd's, buy songs from the itunes shop, create playlists, and transfer music to your ipod.

Thanks.
By CD driver i mean installation disc, but if it has pre installed drivers then i should be set.

Thanks for that..

If you install the itunes software first, its pretty much plug and play...

Buy an 80gb Classic.
I was going to buy a Nano and i saw the Classic for not much more money so I got it and I haven't regretted it. Watching movies in bed is great.
