thats what happened to a lot of iphones.

apples fault though trying to be too exclusive.

What's 'jailbreaking'?

jailbreaking is 'unlocking' the device so that applications from the iPhone and other 3rd party apps that people have created areable to be pit on it. This allows features such as games, instant messiging, maps, notes etc to be added.
I am hesitant to do it with mine as it would most likely void the warranty and I really don't wanna have a dead iPod. I might go into an apple shopk and ask em if it will void the warranty if i do it. Would be handy to have a few extra apps.

Can any third party software that plays avi/divx files (without conversion) be added?

How do I put video's/movies on, i've got no idea???

u have to download a video converter, I suggest videora, and then convert them into mp4.

Then in iTunes, add the videos the same way you would add music.

viccles: I haven't seen one in stores yet. And the shipping prices for some of the American ones are just plain ridiculous. $50US!

internet works well. I'm using my touch right now. I hardly ever use my pc anymore. You need to have wireless Internet for it to work. I can basically only use the Internet function at home.
