Competitions New Numbers

With Hunt joining as a DFA and Ellis Menadue Drummond Butler & McKenzie joining us last Thursday they are going to need numbers. With Hardwick having brought in the rule about draftees getting a high number and having to earn a low number, I wonder what numbers the players should get and if anyone with a high number should be rewarded with a lower number.

As it stands the free numbers we have are:
17(unlikely to be given out)
21
22
23
27
28
32
37
40

For mine I'd go with:
21 Vlastuin
22 Hunt
23 Gordon
27 McDonough
28 Lloyd
32 C.Ellis
36 Menadue
37 Drummond
39 Butler
40 Mckenzie
42 Rookie Pick 1
45 Rookie Pick 2
46 Soldo

Problem with this is it ignores the mantra of making kids earn lower numbers.

Im thinking if Vlastuin didnt move from 31 last year then it wont happen and he wants that number. He def deserved the change after the first season.
