IIRC the numbers that we now have free are 6, 9, 10, 39. (45+ as well)
If we look at who sugar said was going to be delisted...8, 18 and 42 will also be free.
It's fair to say that our top pick in the draft will get a low number, not so sure bout the 3rd and 4th round picks though. Usually younger players have to earn a lower number, much the same as Chris Newman was able to go from #35 to #1 last year.
Who would be deserving of getting a lower number? Or will we just give the lower numbers (6, 8, 9, 10, 18) to our draft picks and possibe trades.
IMO possible candidaes are foley, bling, patto, whitey and hyde. Maybe even meyer...although his number isn't that high at the moment (22).
