It is interesting that Ray Hall was promoted from 37 to 20. Maybe the powers that be have some kind of faith in the kid?
There is no doubt that 42 was too heavy a number for a regular senior player such as Royce Vardy. Lifting it by one hardly lightens the load! I would suggest that it is a way of honouring Scotty Turner.
