Anyone notice the context of the two summing up articles by Paul Roos and Stuart Maxfield after last weekend.

In essence Paul decided it was a lack of communication by players which had been a problem with the Swans for years. Obviously this is the players fault and of course Rodney Eade must have some part in it too.

In the same article he refers warmly to his pack of minders and how it is still the best thing since sliced bread (my words not his).

Stuart Maxfield bemoans the lack of skills, fitness and motivation. All problems which can be streeted home to the coaching area. But nothing about his performance and his sitting on the grass during a really bad patch of play in the third quarter where in my humble opinion they lost any chance they had of winning.

Hardly the stuff to inspire your team mates - Stuart.

The result is that both came up with reasons which sheeted the blame awy from themselves. Nice going guys.

Still there is this weekend when we come up against Adelaide and thank god for the slump in airline trade as I have managed a cheap flight with Virgin to watch the Swans pull off a miracle and beat Adelaide.
