Newsgroups - Stupid Question

How do I read newsgroups ? Not BB's like this but one's like rec.games.backgammon ??? Can I use my browser or do I need something else ?

i THINK outlook has a newsreader... on PCs, I favour a freeware newsreader called Free Agent.

Outlook has a newsreader.

Talk to your ISP about setting it up. It is simply a matter of entering your ISP's news server address (e.g. news.bigpond.com) plus your contact details. Never enter your real e-mail address unless you enjoy spam.

I use Free Agent myself.
