Which newspaper do you read the most? Here in WA we have two choices during the week, The West Australian and The Australian . I like to read The West mainly due to the fact that it is a local paper and thus has more local content. On Sunday I read the Sunday Times, which is a pretty crap paper really. Some of the stories are absolute rubbish and just shouldn't be published.

I sometimes read the Sydney Morning Herald or the Australian. But more often than not, I read the Daily Telegraph which is sensationalism at its best, muck-raking, right-wing ranting tabloid trash which you have to read with a whole heap of salt . . . but it's easier to read on the train than the broadsheet newspapers :D

The Age and the Weekend Australian.. .i bought the herald sun ONCE in my life... which was just after we won the GF in '95... normally i jsut go and steal it from the schol library :D

I'm a Herald Sun man myself. However, both the Hun and The Age have shoddy journalism and lies in it.

About to subscribe to the Hun.

I normally only buy the paper a couple of days a week, but I get the Herald. The Telegraph is tabloid trash.

the main one i read is the Adelaide Advertiser and the Sunday Mail. but cos we own a newsagency we get ALL the papers so i also get the herald sun delivered during footy season and i read the Age on weekends :)

The Herald Sun were a lot more accurate in regards to the Carey story, weren't they?

Just because The Age is bigger, doesn't mean it is a better paper.

It is often the intellect of the person reading the paper and interpreting what it all means, rather than the intellect of the writers influencing the readers that count.

I only buy the Sunday Herald Sun, mainly for the tv guide.
I read the regular Herald Sun at work - the boss always buys it.

I'll read the Shepparton News if someone else brings it to work but I don't think it's worth $1.00 when I can read the major stories at Shepp News Online for free.

Is the Shepp news the same as the Geelong Addy or the Geelong News ?

It's more like the Geelong News or the Werribee Banner. Local stuff I don't really care about. Nowhere near as much national or international news as the Addy.
