Just thought i`d pose the question,is Nick back. Last couple of games he has
kicked valuable goals and has his radar switched on,any comments?

Yeah, back from where?

He's been pretty handy in all the games he's played this year, except for the Kangas game which was a night to forget. Also, at the end of last year.. he was extremely important in the preliminary.. i mean who can forget that little burst he had at the end of the 3rd quarter, he got the ball in 50 3 times and then got a goal himself and of course his 3 goal GF effort. So yeah, back from where?

He's got two big games coming up, facing the two teams in the competition that hate him most. Hopefully it'll only spur him on!

i just wanna see him earn it a bit more, he's so darn talented but his work ethic remains a worry....imagine if he worked as hard with HIS talents as someone like ben matthews or paul bevan

I think he is way underutilised as a key/goal kicking forward. He has the ability to kick 2-3 goals every game, especially while Barry Hall is being double teamed and O'Keefe is working up the ground more.

I don't care if he only gets 8 or 9 possessions a week if he keeps kicking bags of 3. :thumbsu:

Davis is definitely one of those players who can seem to go missing. But it's pretty hard for that not to happen in the position he plays as the third or fourth forward option.

I think work ethic is where he's picked up hugely this year. We know about his skill but - apart from the Roos game that Nat highlighted - he's been doing a lot more chasing and harrassing, and doing it consistently throughout matches.

I don't think we've seen any more of his flair so far this year but overall I'd have him as one of the main improvers to the halfway point of the season.

I think he's putting a lot more second and third efforts in this year. I've always thought in the past that he seemed to do his bit and that was it, but this year, in most games anyway, he's following himself up and going in again.

nick davis is one a those players who appears like Zorro on the black stallion. You dont know where he came from or where he went, but youre sure glad he was there.. :)

I think its sometimes hard for Davis to get a look in. Hall is such a big presence he virtually demands the footy everytime it comes in. So unless he is up the ground the other leading forwards - Mick and Nick mostly - are starved of opportunities.

i think after 6 goals in 2 games, were going to see the ball go to him a bit more often. with hall strugling, someone else kicking goals is jus what you want to see. interesting looking at port with tredrea down on form, team mates arent going to him as much, i wonder if halls continuing form will see the same start to happen to him, not that i wish for his slump to continue, more that im pleased that there are other ways to get a forward kicking regular bags.. lets hope that they can all get up and kick a few each, then were definately on our way to another flag..

confident guy. deadly accuracy. one of the best kicks in the comp. thats good enuff for me =)

Yeah he is back and boy did we need it. Hall and Micky O have struggled the last fortnight and we need our other forwards to score goals. The best teams are those who have multiple goal scoring options like Geelong and the Eagles.
