Another guy who needs his own profile.

Nick Lower
From: Norwood, SANFL, previously Port Adelaide 2006-2009 (20 games)
Age: 23
Height/weight: 189cm, 88kg
Position: Midfielder (played as a defender at Port Adelaide before moving to the midfield in the last year or so with Norwood).
Type of player: He is known for his pace, competitiveness and strength.
He plays as a hard, tough inside midfielder but a bit on the outside also.

From Norwood FC:
2010 was a great year for Nick as he further established himself as one of the truly elite players of the competition. His consistency from week to week was perhaps his biggest strength as he amassed in excess of 500 possessions, second in the league. He is as versatile a player as you will find, exceptionally strong overhead, and his passion for the NFC is evident every time he takes to the field.

Nick Lower ran 2.93s for the 20m sprint and was top 10 for agility at th 2005 draft camp.

Was studying Commerce/Law a few years ago - may have finished by now.

Re: Nick Lower - Rookie

Just got back from Africa and watched the games on fox, really didn't think he was as bad as people have made out. Although he butchered it a couple of times (put that down to nerves) he got a fair bit of it and did some really good things. Good size about him, stands up in a tackle and I reckon he'll play a fair bit of footy for us this year.

I've seen some good avatars on BF. That is one of the best :thumbsu:. Did you find them in Africa??

Had a shoulder reco last pre-season so he missed a chunk of it. Has been playing catch up most of the season fitness wise, filled in a few times when some engine room players were missing but he's pretty much written this season off by his own admission, he'd be looking forward to a decent pre-season to try and push his way into the starting 22 again.

in retrospect, he's pretty much sacrificed this season when he took out daisy thomas after thomas's sniping hit on ibbotson in round 23 of last year. not sure it was worth it but you have to admire a bloke who stands up for his mates on the field.
