I remember reading a player profile once (can't remember whos) but they asked "what's the funniest thing you ever heard on a footy field?" and the response was that during a game a richmond player once called Ben Hart 'Baked-Bean Head'. Funny!

I used to loathe the tryhard teenyboppers who used to scream out the more obscure nicknames some of the players used to provide in profiles.

We had one lass who thought she was the bees knees for yelling out "go chili toecutter" every time Nigel touched the ball a few seasons ago...

Edwards is Zoomer, Typhoon, or just Phoon. My sister just calls him Tedwards though.

The nicknames came in handy, and my boys had a ball at the game on Saturday. I guarantee the nicknames will come in handy again, as my two youngsters are the only people I've ever heard barrack at training.

They've got the passion already at the ripe old ages of 5 and 6!

Nice to see the boys on the field had a ball also (and lots of the cherry as well).

Cheers yourself. I found this little cute dog yesterday and I think it's blind and it keeps walking into stuff and it was bleeding EVERYWHERE, so I kept it inside and I hope my parents will let me keep it! She's so cute! And little. And skinny... better feed her up!
