NicNat vs Rich

There were alot of arguments and disagreements at the start of the year about who we should draft and even after we took NicNat, there were plenty of people who were disappointment about our decision. Now that we have seen both of them play in the big league, has anybody changed their minds about who we shaould have taken?

If we could trade NicNat for Rich, would you?

Would absolutely love Rich at the Eagles. The mancrush is still high.

But I could never bring myself to give up the Terminaita for him.

I was very wary about Naitanui and having watch Rich be damn solid this year was worrying. After watching Naitanui in 2 games, he's given more excitement than I thought possible. So no. Good midfielders come by often. Out and out superstars like Naitanui are once in a lifetime.

If we can get Rich back, that would be the cream though

We should trade for Rich at the end of 2010 when hes avialable, if B Matera is not a chance of falling to us i would trade our first and second round picks for him. Ultimatly the thought of Masten, Rich, Naitanui, Swift all in the one team really excites me.

Would be happy with either to be perfectly honest. Rish has come in and made a big impact as we all expected, and Naitanui has a fair way to go but has showed some very good signs in his first two games.

I was in NicNat corner by half way through last year even though Rich was always going to be good.

The reason was that we had drafted plenty of midfielders the year before but lacked that X factor player that we lost with Judds defection.

As a bonus we drafted 2 more quality midfielders in Swift and Shuey to further strengthen our midfield stocks

Both will be good players for their clubs.

Geniune forward/ruckman dont fall off trees and Im glad West Coast chose him over Rich.

Have to agree given that we were never going to take Rich before Naitanui this thread is pointless.

I always wanted rich. Still do as i prefer him for some reason.

I wanted Rich and have no issue admitting that. But that was based on that we are in desperate need for midfielders.

Big Nat looks to be a great pick up and has excitement written all over him and I am happy we have him.

But I would still of Picked Rich now that we have seen them both purely and simply because we need midfielders.

Both would be great I guess.
