I hope we treat r23 as the Elim final we ought be playing. Likely Essendon will.
And, if we can't beat them, we have no business beating anyone else in the actual finals.

I reckon Nth deserve a spot as the best side out of the 8
and I hope we get to put em away after showing up the bombers.

Just imagine if they hadve sorted this last year, when we were clearly the best side outside the 8, might've got us over the line in a few matches and we would've already tasted finals

Nth is a game behind Brisbane and Carlton and have had losses to Adelaide, Carlton and Brisbane in the last 8 weeks. If they deserved a spot they would be in the 8 now. Just don't buy all this stuff about Nth. They are flawed as losses this year to WC, Crows (twice), Gold Coast, Brisbane, Carlton and last years 96 point elimination final debacle show.

but then thats silly isn't it? Bombers clearly are going to be stripped of points - well by the sounds of it so so the four points should be given to Richmond. Makes no sense at all for Richmond to not get the four points, or else its four points that will go to no one and that will look silly. Mind you though if they are going to do that then they will need to give all the clubs that the Bombers beat this season and those clubs the four points as well.

So I guess the game between Essendon and Richmond isn't a dead rubber at all. It does mean something.

it would be unfair on all the other teams this year who played the bummers for us to be given the 4 points. to keep it consistent we should only get the points if we win. i have no problem with it.
