"Sack Brockman now. The Geraldton street fight – allegedly breaking a guy's jaw – is the final straw after the 2024 car crash where he fled the scene and got charged. Clear pattern of reckless off-field behaviour that's tarnishing the club's image. We're rebuilding and can't afford these distractions. No more chances – delist him immediately and move on."

What people forget about this situation also is he was meant to play in the WAFL the day after.... so before a game he crashed his car, did a runner didnt show up to the game and then never told anyone at the club until they tracked him down a day or two later. Its one thing to **** up but then its another thing to simply do it without any sense of strength of will or character

Anyone who runs from the problem wont be successful in anything they do, including being a AFL footballer

He ran initially but then came back to the scene of the crime and spoke to police. He was going through an intense period of grief at the time and owned up to his actions so it seemed like one of those moments where a softer touch was needed.

Getting into a fight over Xmas is a bit different I reckon, keen to know the circumstances but if he was just drunk and silly I'd be inclined to cut him a year early and have an open spot for SSP or mid-season.

Bloke clearly has talent but he won't make it at AFL level with this sort of behaviour. Not to mention the example it sets for the younger guys, who by all accounts have had a cracking and professional off-season thus far.
