Nokia SMS ringtone

Just thought I should share a startling SMS revelation I had this morning. I got an SMS and thought (for no apparent reason at all) "at least that ringtone isn't as annoying as that Nokia one" - I bought a Handspring Treo a few weeks ago so it has a different ringtone....

So anyway, the Nokia one I'm thinking about is the one marked "special" when you select your SMS ringtone - you know the one, loud, annoying and goes on too long - beep-beep-beep beeeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeeep beep-beep-beep (repeat)

For no other apparent reason at all I suddenly realised that was morse code for "SMS".

Blew me away. Freaked me out.

Just thought I'd share. It wasn't something I'd really thought about at all.

That's what I've got on mine when an SMS comes in. I've often wondered why that SMS tone was called "special" - maybe that's what Bruce has on his mobile.

Yep, I have Special on my SMS ringtone! It's the loudest, and the best!!
