Noob question.

I am totally new to all of this racing, I much prefer sports.

Well anyway, there is one thing that confuses me, I was looking on TABonline and I headed to this race and I saw this:

Now with only two figures in the "Win" column, it there only two horses in the race? or is there just no point betting on the other horses? or have they just no been updated?
