To Arch, Sandie, Dutchy, Wally, Walshy (and if you're out there somewhere, Ricey),

Congratulations on another win by your boys over mine. I'm sure you've all enjoyed the night much more than I did

RED & BLACK, THE COLOURS OF FENG SHUI

Clearly the better team won on the night, so I dips me lid to yas. Also a special mention to Walshy who came into the chatroom late last night and conducted himself impeccably, without being at all smug or arrogant.

thanks shinners

and darky cheers, i would have stayed longer but had computer probs
and i dont think there was anything to be arrogant about, in the end we played a team without 4 of their best players and were probably expected to win

but on the bright sight for the kangas, rocca seems that he will be a valuable pick up and smith and harris were also very good

cheers lads-

I was just blown away with the skill level and commitment we showed- I was expecting a pretty scrappy sort of effort, but was surprised at how cleanly we handled the ball, hit targets and applied pressure. It was like we havent missed a beat in 6 months. Early days yet, but signs are good.

I was also very happy to hear that young Watt wasn't seriously injured, because I was quite shaken watching that kid convulsing on the field. I really was fearing the worst.

BOMBERS 2001- THE HUNTERS. NOT THE HUNTED.

Essendon have class all over the ground. The Essendon players execute the basic skills of football in a far superior manner. So often last night the Essendon players were able to predict where the North players were going to kick the ball. I would go so far as to say, that the Essendon players exploit the weaknesses of umpires, for their own advantage better that any other team. As already stated, I must take my hat off to Essendon once again.
