Are reports for this game being posted elsewhere? If so please move this :)

I was only able to stay for the first half, however a few things stood out to me.

De Koning: really impressive, beautiful set of hands. Gets it at the highest point and is strong in the contest. Also did okay in the ruck. Don’t expect him this year, but some good signs.

Cuningham: very good, the person everyone looks for.

ASOS: a lot of turnovers and no massive impact.

Hmac: struggled, really don’t know if he came in injured.

Schumacher: However you won’t to spell his name he can kick. Long, but can also pinpoint a kick. Seriously skinny though..

You’d have to say NG put in his usual VFL performance, a jet at that level - if only he could put in those numbers regularly in the AFL.

Perhaps play him soley in the middle (ala Murph’s role) and see how he goes for a stretch to make an informed decision on his future. Can his disposal & decision making can translate from VFL > AFL (though confidence is a wonderful thing that probably dissipates when in the 1’s).

It's been done before.

He just doesn't have the quickness of mind or hands to reproduce his VFL form at AFL level. His lack of leg speed doesn't help either.
