I was hoping someone could help me.

I am fairly knowledgable with my PC, I build my own from components.

I have limited experience however on the insides of notebooks. I am attempting to upgrade some RAM for a friend. I have determined the type of RAM needed and how much it can take.

I am trying to source 2 x 1GB modules.

My standard plan is to decide on brand and model and then use staticice to find the best price. I found the model VS2GSDSKIT667D2 It was listed as Corsair- Value select 2GB kit (2x1GB). When I searched on staticice however all except this site listed it as, Corsair value select 2GB kit (2x256x64 non-ECC) and I am confused. Is this what I am looking for or not?

That code on the Corsair website comes up as 2GB also.

Just take it in to any computer shop and they will tell you if it is compatible. It is the easiest way.
