Was on the Carlton board...'lloyd' thread.
Came across a few posts with the words 'scum' and 'thug' towards Lloyd (no biggy).

So I respond and get a 'infraction'.
Made me laugh.

The umpires love Lloyd as much as I do......

It must be how Lloyd takes his marks, its a leap forward, legs up, then either takes the mark, or just falls to the ground face first. Free kick or no Free kick, at the end of the day, Lloyd will always Earn his goals.

Yeah, thats why I Love Lloydy so much.

He's way more Unique in how he takes his marks than many other players in the AFL, and thats probably why he's rewarded so much for it.

Haven't yet decided what I find more offensive or laughable about this thread. I can' t honestly believe that they dedicated 9 pages to slagging off at Matthew Lloyd before their moderator finally closed the thread. It seems forums such as these give some really 'gutsy' individuals the right to slander and denigrate anyone they feel like - while hiding behind an alias! I would have thought that even though they lost they had a lot of positives to come out of the game - Fevola, Judd, Stevens, Betts and a most impressive debut from Kreuzer ( he will be the real deal) Can't they accept that every club has a moronic element that support them, which I think at times adds to the colour of the game. I am none of the things I have been accused of on this thread by virtue of barracking for Essendon. Those so called 'heroes' slagging off at Rama should be ashamed of themselves. After what he has been through most people have the utmost respect for his courage and fighting spirit, regardless of the team they support. The Carlton supporter who claimed we should be ashamed to have Lloyd in our team well you should be ashamed to have supporters who would be so insensitive to make cheap shots at Rama. And no they weren't all St Kilda supporters as someone claimed.

Yeah but is it really a positive when Fevola, Judd and Stevens have great games and they still can't win?

They still have a tonne of holes to fill.

I agree. I guess the point I was trying to make was that they spent 9 pages bagging Lloyd when they could have looked at some of the things that would help them. So far all they have done is slander Lloyd, slander anyone who barracks for Essendon and blame the umpires for their loss. What is the problem with these people? Clearly they have too much time on their hands.:thumbsdown:

They are like sheep, Essendon win, blame umpires and have a go at Lloyd, even if his one and only free was there.

Love how they blame umpires, counted 3 times Bryce Gibbs was pinged but not called, and a few on other players.
 
Lol 90% of Lloyds goals came from free kicks... Must've been watching a different game.

But seriously, why the hell were you on the Carlton board?
 
i wouldnt worry what carlton clowns have to say there cheats and have all the young players in there side and they still wont win many games,as for lloyd bashing just comes down to being jealous.......you could see fevolas was pretty rapped to get his 8 and wanted to really celebrate at the end when he did get that total but didnt coz his side was getting beat.....hes just a prima donna and individual who will know the meaning of team.....id have lloydy anyday of the week:D

Guys.

If you go onto another teams board, you are bound by their rules.

If you don't like that, don't go there, it's really simple.

You have no rights on their board just the same as they have none here.

They are entitled to say what ever they like as long as their Mods deem it ok, but you don't.

Also the Administrators have deemed that no more Mod abuse or whinging is to be tolerated and is supposed to be dealt with with infractions.

I will leave this thread locked but on display so everyone can read it and be aware of what the rules are.

If you have any complaints about the way any Mods or Admin deal with you, you can complain via the "contact us" link at the bottom of the main index.
