Hi all
Most (if not all) of you will have heard of the late Fred Hollows, the work that he did, and the legacy that he has left behind.
His work has made it possible for sight to be restored to people throughout the world, especially through removal of cataracts. What used to be an impossibly expensive operation for many in developing countries can now be done for around $25.
As a way of raising money for the Foundation, the 5th annual Dare2Bare "Skinnydip-athon" is being held at Obelisk Beach, near Mosman, NSW, on 16 February 2003.
Being the shy and retiring type that I am, I have reluctantly been talked into taking part, and am seeking whatever sponsorships that you are able to donate.
100% of funds raised go to the Foundation - those of us taking part pay a registration fee to cover expenses.
(For anyone who thinks that I might chicken out after taking your money - I will be getting proof of participation. Photographic evidence is not on - unless you pay a considerable premium)
Please let me know by return PM if you are prepared to help out, and I will come back to you regarding how to get the cash through.
(Note: Donations over $2 are tax deductible)
Thanks everyone
Craig
P.S. The option of paying extra for me to keep my clothes on is NOT available !
P.P.S. The only alternative to not sponsoring is joining in !!
