My gut says its Port 70%, Sainters 25%, Cows 5%.

But - Adelaide in many ways can shape this trade. If they know its unlikely to happen they can offer overs and force the other clubs to match, making sure who ever gets him for 2026 pays the absolute maximum.

Don't like dedicated threads to one player who is currently at an oppo club it's bad juju.

The discussion on him was overwhelming the general list management thread thanks to media overload. At some point the chat needs its own thread. And the title is carefully worded. ;)

I kind of prefer 2026 Goodbye (To St Kilda) New; Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera Discussion

So assume he picks crows, then at min , 2 first rds would be needed hence Saints may get somewhere around 15 to 18 in a compromised 2025 draft which blows into 2nd rd almost, with ngas ,academies f/s etc and then potentially a similiar high pick in 2026 draft, assuming Crows repeat there current form next year. Not overly appealing unless other sweeteners are offered.

Assume for us Bergman and next years first (likely to be around pick 3 to 8) are in play at a min.

What if we throw Rozee forward? I wouldn't want both NWM and Rozee in our backline. But Rozee has shown the ability to play forward and be that marking type. His first two seasons where he played up forward was when he was at his best imo, showed all the skills he had.
Become Toby Greene 2.0 with speed and kicking penetration.😤

You raise a solid point. I think Rozee would be a great option up forward, & would offer far more than SPP, who I think is massively overrated.

NAS is an elite winger / halfback , which we could use and would cost us a lot.

But miles is a gun, the idea we should give up miles, who’s a high end player showing a big future as an onballer plus a 1st rounder is crazy.

Our fan base is so cucked. Saints fans over there talking about they expect butters / butters and miles and our fan base talking about how we should spread our cheeks.

We got rogered on the Houston trade, why as a fanbase should we expect to bend over both ways… when a player leaves (gotta fold players have all the power etc) then expect to fold when (if) a player wants to come to us? Doesn’t make sense. Like pick a lane, does the receiving or giving team get ****ed? It’s absurd to expect it both ways as a club, but we shouldn’t be surprised with the club serving the afl and not its fans.

The way I see it, miles is worth 70-80ish % of what nas is , and the more he plays onball this year and shows the form he has the more that gap is gonna close. The hell we should be adding a 1st rounder to miles in this scenario. I’ll be damned if an uncontracted nas is worth more than twice what Houston is. More yes, we got dudded, but exorbitantly more. No.

Keeping Bergman and landing Nas is clearly the best outcome, but its becoming pretty clear the chance of Bergman staying are slim and not improving the longer the year goes on.

Yeah at this stage I’m worried he’s gone.

At the very least they’re giving him midfield time and he’s showing his value there.

It’s disappointing cause he looks a very good fit next to our other mids and his versatility helps as well.

If we lose him we’ve probably got to look really hard at some onballers in the draft cause moraes and Lorenz are different types and mead is depth.
