i really don’t. Know why people hang their hats on these stories these days. Port was strongly denying Houston was leaving last year despite having already agreed to trade him.

Without knowing the truth of what has happened - if NWM had told someone he wasn’t keen on Adelaide due to the previous Tex stuff and it got out on the media I hardly think he or his management would come out and say so. They would do exactly what they are doing - which incidentally is also exactly what they would do if he didn’t say anything.

Far be it for me to ever absolve this shitshow of an organisation of anything these days.....but if NWM did tell port that was the case re the Crows, and we were sitting pretty with him re potential trade, why on earth would the club choose to leak that to the media, undermine his confidence in us and potentially cost ourselves the trade??
