the callback to WM18 Hogan-Rock at the start of the Dream-Ricochet match was good. Shame they didn't have Ricochet do the People's moonsault.
Also first time watching a NXT TakeOver. Still need to watch the Gargano/Ciampas main event, but seriously the quality of wrestling on the show so far is unbelievable. Crowd eat everything up, too.
The opening tag match is one of the best fast paced matches I've seen in a long time. The two bald dudes are great in the ring.
Velveteen Dream just oozes charisma. Ricochet is a bit flippy flippy but these two worked a great match. VD is a future World Champion with that gimmick.
Black/Lars Sullivan is a handy little match, too. Lots of hard hits and nice spots. Slightly botched ending but they made up for it.
Why have I waited this long to give NXT a shot?

2015's Brooklyn TakeOver was the first I watched. Before that they were filmed in a Florida studio which felt too TNA at the time.
