I posted in another thread about Oasis Active. Found it quite useless to be honest. Scored a couple of one nighters back in the day but the whole contact thing on there is flawed because you have to be accepted before you can say anything. Most girls are flooded with contact so never respond.

I'm not the only one who has experienced it. From people I've talked who use the site they say the same thing. Maybe its a Perth thing who knows. When you get to about 35 it changes though as its the guys that are in demand. And as for not doing it right you can't exactly get it wrong. Its a fairly basic site.

the stigma with dating sites is quite frankly wrong, the stigma that is "if your desperate", there is nothing wrong with trying to meet people through another form other than out and about, you may not meet these people out and about and for all you know you may end up marrying a girl 1 day because you took the plunge and didnt listen to the haters who think dating sites are a joke. Lets just say ive done very well with dating sites and no im not ugly or desperate.

the thing is though the stigma around dating sites remain, were you slightly embaressed to tell the folks how you met your GF? or are you and them perfectly fine with it as they should be?
