Jim O'Brien has resigned as head coach of the Boston Celtics after half a season under his new boss. O'Brien's decision came after a major argument over personnel and playing time issues with director of basketball operations Danny Ainge. Assistant coach John Carroll is expected to take over as interim head coach. - yahoo.sports

ok... so who's next...

O'Brien walked away from $10M to get away from Ainge.

Speaks volumes.

I dare say that they will come up with some pay out arrangement. Apperently Jim O'Brien was going to leave at year end and Celtics (Ainge) told him he may as well go now, reading into this it sounds like he will get paid for at least the rest of this year.

I wonder if Byron Scott is being considered for the Celtic job. It would be interesting to see a ex Laker Coaching Celtics. Almost sacreligeous if you ask me.

NO!!!!!!

However, it would be worth it to see Scott guide the Celts past NJ.

Perhaps, but certainly not the slant that ESPN are putting on it.

I'm pretty sure Bill Sharman, who coached the Lakers to the '72 Championship, wore the kelly green uniform.
