With the ECF's progressing nicely, thought we should start talking about which players are staking claims to be finals MVP.
At this stage it's between Kobe and Rondo for my money.
Kobe putting up dominant performances and impressive numbers, probably in the lead for the MVP at the moment. Deservedly so.
But Rondo is a key reason why the Celtics are doing as well as they are, and is no doubt the Celtics most important player this post-season. Even when he isn't putting up huge numbers like Kobe, he is running that team and setting the tempo. Impressive stuff.
Outside chances? if Orlando comes back and sweeps Boston out with 4 straight wins, surely it'd be on the back of Dwight Howard, which would give him a legitimate claim to the title.
Similar story for Steve Nash in PHX.
