Many hazmat trained people saying the burning off of hazardous chemicals is not and never has been an approved method for dealing with such spills. So why?

Here's some images of the devastation. Many other tweets out there that go into the CT of it all if you want to search yourself

According to the conspiracy boards favourite news source;

Norfolk Southern opted to release the gas from the derailed cars, potentially releasing deadly fumes into the air, to prevent a potentially disastrous explosion.

I'd like to see a year on year statistical analysis of train derailments over the past 20 years or so.

It's not a good look that these latest train disasters were carrying dangerous chemicals but there's been more than a dozen derailments already this year in the US, one carrying gravel and rocks, another grain.

Another two in metropolitan areas where one train fell off it's tracks in Detroi and left several cars hanging off the side of a bridge.

There's some long range stats in here.

It's a country with 300 million people.

Yes coincidences will occur, just like this.

I know the conspiracist mindset needs everything to have a reason, an order, and a connection. But sometimes, when dealing with large numbers, coincidences can occur.

When two trains crash with hazardous waste within a week and now a truck somehow rolls over, also with hazardous waste, its hard to not raise an eyebrow. Doesn’t really matter how many people in the country.

This is conspiracist thinking. Linking random events, because you want them to be linked.

In a country of 300m you'll have many train crashes. You'll also have many trucks roll over, some of which will carry hazardous materials. Most times this won't get reported, but because of the current focus due to the train crash it's being reported.

Like how after the mayday the other week, every Qantas incident was reported. Despite those incidents being daily incidents they aren't usually reported so suddenly people thought there was a slew of incidents at Qantas due to <reasons> when in reality they're the same things that happen every day but aren't reported.

But there IS a link. Cargo derailments, toxic chemicals, days apart. Hence, "conspiracy" by dictionary defiinition...two or more parties colluding in secret for x outcome.

Could be nothing, all I’m saying is, it raises my eyebrow.

Exactly my point.

Explain how a train crash in Ohio and a truck crash in Arizona are linked such that 'two or more parties are colluding in secret for x outcome.'
