Ohno (the guy from the US who got silver in the Bradbury race) won gold today in the 1500m speed skate race, no collisions although he won after the Korean got disqualified. There looked very little in the incident to me, seemed like a peer US crowd pressure got him that gold.

yeah saw that too.....i thought he must have been blocked when trying to pass the korean guy and thats why he ended up winning the gold.......but im not sure

oh,and the funniest thing in the race before the semi happen.
bradbury fell before the finish line but still qualified for the semi because his skate crossed the line in third.

Hey! What do you mean peer US crowd pressure? The referee that called the foul and awarded first place to Ohno is the Australian ref who gave Bradbury the gold in the 1000.

I think all US citizens were proud that Ohno didn't whine or complain about the ref's decision in the 1000 and I wonder if the ref had Ohno's classy behavior in mind when he made the call in Ohno's favor in the 1500.

Whachathink?
