Haynes was very good in the middle until he did his shoulder, J.Johnson,Wellman,Jacobs were good as usual. Cupido's game was interesting, was pretty avgerage early on but then started to get alot of the ball on the wing and back flank and IMO was the key to Essendon coming back in the last quarter.

Solly, half a game, put in a trade mark tackle on some poor bastard, beautiful to watch. Came through it well.
Liked Mcphee`s game, he runs straight at it, could (a very big could) help soften the loss of The Wick.
Woosha Welsh was given the severe runabout by Milne, maybe not suited to the small forward minding role. Again, I like Welsh, he has a go and fights outside his weight.
Drank in the ca***** social club, all in the name of research.

Low scoring games are hard to right home about, particularly in those conditions. Some puzzling decisions to begin the game with..leaving Bolton on the bench until the second quarter and then expecting him to run Robert Harvey for a half was unusual. Taking Lloyd, Wellman, Bolton off at 3/4 time was strange really.

Not too strange, when u consider what sheeds is trying to do with these practice matches. Taking the leaders of the club off at 3/4 time gave the kids still on the park a chance to show some leadership. By all accounts, we nearly stole the game back with 1/2 the side not on our best 22, im sure it have sheeds some idea who is looking to step up this year (and who isn't pulling their weight).
