Makybe Diva,
This week i will be backing Fields of Omagh and if it wins whichn i think it can i will be a bit tearfull along with everyone else at the track. I think thuis fella is a true champion and will show his fight and will to win on Saturdayn in a grand send off. I hope he wins and does it for Hayesy and the owners.

Also im sick of being bagged on this site. I think i have given pretty good tips up until last week. If i new the track was going to be upside down wouodnt have sed they were good things. Also i was still getting bagged wen i was picking you people 2 or 3 winners in consequative weeks. I reckon you people who are bagging me should give me a bit more respect. Also wat about the people who come on hear every week or 2 and say there tips and they always lose but they dont cop anything.

To finish i'd like to say a massive thanks and to say that Helmie is a legend and thanks for sticking up for me mate seriuosly yiour a top bloke. And go the mighty FOO Eachway

i like fields of omagh at good each way odds as well but i honestly believe he will need a rain affected track to trouble some of these smart one's!!
only other dangers are el segundo and grey swallow...good trifecta

At least DJ you come on and put it all on the line by actually giving some tips instead of criticising other's tips.

However, there will be no fairytale ending this week. He will not run a place unfortunately.

i have only bagged you because of what u said about backing the diva last year in a cox/melb double at 70/1, everybody knows the odds get halved if u back the same horse, u are still yet to explain this one?????

Well at least this time he is actually giving his tip rather then just saying how El Segundo can't win then raving like a madman when El ran 3rd. That was classy stuff.:o

Oh and i did give a tip in that race and it was Pompeii Ruler who was just pipped at the post in a photo.

They should set up bungy jump equipment from Bryan Martin's broadcast box cos if Fields of Omagh wins the race he'll be looking for a quick route downstairs.

Would make a very interesting race call.

Yeah. Commentary:

400 metre mark:

Pompeii Ruler moving up to Our Smoking Joe. Grey Swallow further out. Racing To Win peeling of his back, El Segundo wide.

300 metre mark:

Fields of Omagh is now coming into it, pinching a gap on the fence.

200 metre mark:

Fields of Omagh goes up to hit the front!

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

100 metre mark:

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

FIELDS!

FIELDS OF OMAGH DOES IT!

I'd love it if the old fella won. He surprises every year but I think this might be beyond him. Great horse though, still slightly underrated despite the Cox Plate victory & subsequent placings.

Nothing wrong with your tips DJ, but your comments in this post (see bold) are so rich I almost choked when I read them. You came on here and ragged on everyone with an opinion different to yours, gave hell to people who weren't prepared to bet in the "thousands" like you and then when you had some good fortune, came straight back to rub everyone's noses in it like you were some kind of punting god. Now you are whinging because you are copping a bit of pepper for being a know-it-all mouth that got well and truly bent over by the bookies on the weekend to the tune of $9500 (your words) and you want people to "pweese stop teasing me"??! That kinda thing doesnt exactly command respect in my book. Take your medicine after your bad week and stop bleating like a pre-schooler.:thumbsd:

:D :D

I agree whole-heartedly with this statement. DJ Ryan you think you are some sort of rocket scientist by `smashing morals' or short-price favourites.

Sadly I have to agree with you about Fields of Omagh this week, because I would love to see him go out on a high.

As for the respect we are supposed to afford you. How about you give your tips and keep quiet about how much you want to put on them with your bookies.

If you want to prove your worth, go head to head with me on each day of the carnival and the cox plate.

Tip one horse in every Melbourne race and I will as well. The person with the most winners at the best odds will win.

Being a gun punter, you should be able to beat me in your sleep.

dj you were a tad arrogant when you first appeared on this site staking ur massive claims and really having a go at all people who bet small amounts. so really you don't have a leg to stand on there mate

as for saturday. its seguendo and swallow for me.
omagh allways performas well, will be interesting tho.

Well done DJ

:D ;)

I threw my money done the drain on the crazy Grey Swallow who just didn't want to be there.

Great old horse. Why oh why did I keep doubting it?

DJ Ryan ---> DJ Cryin ---> DJ Flyin

Freakin Hell:eek:

His balls are going to be 3 times as big now

A Cox Plate winner at 20-1:thumbsu:

what an effort... i contemplated backing it but decided against it... still brought a tear to the eye though...

Thanks man. I had $500 eachway on Fields of Omagh at $21 and had $1000 the place on Casual pass so did alright. I also heavily backed efficent and Cinq Rouge but lost on pasikatera and was that you. Was up plenty at the end of the day though.

i told ya to stay true with my tips efficent and fields. i might have one bad week but its usually a 1 off lol.

Derby next week cant wait.

No doubt Efficent was going to win today....is a awesome Race Horse.

Grand final is next week for Efficient.

If it wins a derby then it's an awesome horse...(although i don't think Benicio was all that awesome)

I backed Fields of Omagh and got the trifecta. Also had something on Casual Pass.

Only collects for the day, bur profitable nonetheless.
