I've been a fan of some of the training jumpers

hell I'm wearing the one with the claw rips as the sash and the tiger head on it as I type this.

These are bloody awful though. Hell even the traditional sash doesn't look as good (though this may be my mind playing tricks as the ugliness in that pic spreads through osmosis).

Why do they design jumpers that look like Joffa swallowed a couple of tins of paint and threw up on them these days?

Is that what the kids like or something? Whatever happened to "less is more"?

What happened to less is more is that it was left behind in the 60s & 70s when VFL wasnt the big business it is now. Give you the tip, if the kids didnt like it they wouldnt have made them...;)

Maybe if I took the right drugs they would look good. What are they thinking?

Those are just not football jumpers.

Home guernsey looks fine, don't mind the training guernseys although I do miss the claw training jumper. The choice to offer a red jumper is a bit silly though, how does that have any relation to our club whatsoever??

Thats what I dont understand, if they wanted a jumper that stood out from the rest for when they might have an intra praccy match, then you still wouldnt pick red.

Would have liked to see our Tigerhead logo included on the players jumper, similar to what the Pies do with their Magpie logo on their playing jumper.

i think that the one on the far left doesnt look right becaus it doesnt have amjor sponsor on it... i lioke the trainning ones just not really keen on the red one... '' Oh where from tiger, YELLOW AND BLACK, oh where from tigerland"...
i dont remmber singing red, yellow and black

I thought that as well but pretty sure its just no sponsor made it look weird.

The Yellow training top looks a lot like the Port Adelaide Clash top of 2009 with the swirling thing with an added Tiger Head. Would be an alright Away Strip v Port & Essendon.
The Red I hate. Why choose red you could have Yellow on White but not red on white.

Home top still the same. Sponcers missing is probley why it looks different. I would have liked the club badge on the top like the 2008 one. Looks way better with them. Collingwood, Geelong and Port Adelaide have them.

We obviously won't be wearing the red guernseys in season

It still doesn't explain the decision to use no identifiable RFC colours on the jumper, who is going to buy one and wear it to a match just so they can sing "Yellow and Black" at the end? How are these expected to sell? In intraclub training matches they might replace colored bibs and further engrain hate for the Bombers but for the general public, you'd have to think it's just an expensive tea towel.

you'd reckon it'd probably be by request from the coaching department for something totally different for training.... magpies prance around in light blue.

i guess there's a bit of red in our logo with the tiger's tongue...

I will be purchasing the traditional home guernsey and the black training one, I really like them! :thumbsu: The red is just disgusting though. We aren't Sydney ffs..

The sponsors have definitely been photoshopped out of the jumpers....

Without want to be too picky, but we don't have a black training jumper. The black one is our NAB kit.

The red is disgracefull, the other two passable, i dont recall any grey in our colours either.

Next thing they will be tinkering with the song:thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd:
