The training/Ansett Cup ones are shit, but that is the fad to have all teams wear some shit that - to quote Tommy Hafey about the 'Allies' jumper "fair dinkum looks like it was designed by sportsgirl".

I couldn't give a shit about who our major sponsors are. Did I suddenly go to Dick Smith and buy all their crap? Did I suddenly go out and buy a Motorola phone? All I care about is that we get the best $, I couldn't care less if we were sponsored by Tetley Tea again as long as we make a lot of money on it.

Shhh!

...we all bought lots and lots of sponsor's stuff, lots. And lots -_-

The red jumper is fine for training, I just don't expect it to sell well to the public

Maybe the red jumper is there to keep the sponsor happy- so it could be a company with red in its brand like a "Westpac" or a "Coca Cola"?

I think you're onto something there! I seem to remember Collingwood using an orange training jumper at one point, Wizard was their sponsor if I remember correctly. Also, Coke cans and bottles have all that swirly, curvy line business on them....maybe?

Why don't we just get a group of Club members 7-yo kid's together and let them have a bash at designing something? It worked for Port Adelaide.

Kids don't understand 'fashion trends', 'gradients', distinctive identity' etc. They just design what they think looks good.

We won't be the only team with KooGa on board next year.

The Lions are going with them too @ 300k a season for 4 years which is good.

THe reason that the bulldogs one was more (~500k a season) is that they are also a second tier sponsor beside worksafe.

Don't tell me the Bulldogs and Lions are now going to have the same design scheme for their nab cup and training guernseys..
