The Sharks have gone undercover in a bid to find out who are the real leaders of the club with keeper batsman philhawk taking the reigns of the Sharks for one test in a bid to protect normal test captain LSS from his 'business trip' to spot up 'local talent'

"Yeah look, the talent in Adelaide is not bad, some underated 'cricketers' over there and I'm wanting to find the best for the Sharks and of course I won't be going there for late night fun, just want to find that talent."

"Phil is a talent, a real talent and a great leader and I only expect the bet when he shows up for our next test and leads us to victory, he's a key member and myself and that thing (BRG) are big supporters and feel he should fill in being a loyal member of our squad."

"Kapow was close and a few other names like Squizza, boncer and spell_check bobbed up but in the end phil was the best choice and he's been around for the whole time the Sharks have been around and he is the best for the job."

:thumbsu:

What the fook?!

That was random, but thanks for the honour LSS and BRG. I'll try to contribute towards a Sharks win during your absence.

So hey, guys, lets 'mix things up' a little now that LSS is gone. Ever considered opening the bowling Spelly? ;)

I don't think you are allowed to change my details to do that phil. ;)

But what could be interesting is having the normal order for batting (normal being the pos. 1-11) look like this:

11
10
9
8
1
2
3
4
5
6
7

or something like that, where the bowlers open the batting.

I wouldn't mind seeing what would happen with that - besides dyertribes' average is in the 30s'!

LSS was too scared to hand over the reins to BRG in case he further showed up his captaincy inadequacies.

He's hoping that Phil will mess it up & everyone will be screaming bring back the old king.

Wow, thats harsh Dipper. Fair go, I wish I were captaining when we played the Allies. :p

It's all in jest, my questioning of LSS's leadership credentials is his favourite part of this board, he'd be upset if I didn't get stuck in.

In fact he probably created this thread just to give me some ammunition.

Btw, i'm happy for BRG to captain. Completely forgot about that actually and I daresay LSS forgot as well? BRG, why don't you just captain mate? I'm happy to just concentrate on my own keeping and batting. :thumbsu:
LSS asked me if I wanted to but we both decided it would be a good opportunity for someone else like yourself to do it. You have captain written all over you.

Good to see you're taking an active interest in the next big team :)

SAS are one of the more interesting teams, if I decided to wind down my career in a less competitive atmosphere they'd be my first choice.

There's only been one competitive SA side in the comp & that was the Raiders but we recognised the threat & poached so many of their players that they folded that close season.

We might try the same trick with KCC this year.

We'll be a force to be reckoned with soon enough. Silverware is on it's way, I can feel it. Either way we're guaranteed to be the biggest talk in the off-season poachings. That's already in the bag :)

I think so, its been a tough ride since the dark old days at the Koala's but there is definate light at the end of the tunnel. The key will be to be able to keep the majority of our players.

If you did this line up you would have whoever normaly bats at 7 opening the bowling...

Thats how it goes isn't it? 11 and 12 open the bowling?
