I dont want to take the gloss off our win, I enjoyed every mark, every goal and every minute of it. Coming home on the train, was most enjoyable

But .... the eagles were ______ pathetic.

They have a mascot wedgetail eagle they let fly around the stadium before the match, it flew to the top rafter and sat there then just flew down to the trainer for a feed, it couldnt give a shit, much like how their team played today.

Never have I seen a team look so disinterested, weak and lazy since 2004 under the Frawley days.

John Worsfold and Voss have an enormous amount of work to do with that side. They suck.

agreed. but very encouraging to see us kick 152 without Richo, despite the opposition. and cotchin dominated kerr, a proven midfielder. massive positives despite the team they were fielding.

Completely understand where you are coming from 'Coach'.
While we were very good. The WCE's were pretty average. They looked slow and couldn't hit their targets.

I know the saying goes that you can only beat who they put in front you, but I think we'll have had a substantial win, a win that shows we've improved and are better then good teams, when we go toe to toe with a side above us and beat them. Most of the teams we've beaten haven't been at their best when we thought we were at our best.

But on the flipside, beating spaz teams all year can get into the finals!

To put it bluntly had we of lost today there would have been some serious questions asked, WC are in the zone now that results are an afterthought as all their planning centres around the top 5 draft candidates. They are a VERY professional club and realised some time ago it was to be a @#!@$ of a season , then they would be better rewarded in the long run if it was a real shocker. A bottom 3 finish will be just the tonic they are after

Dont get me wrong, living in Perth for so long I have copped it from pilar to post and today was payback time.

But that team wont win another match this season and they have Freo and Melbourne in their run home thats how bad they were. I would even say they have pick 1 all wrapped up
