Jon Ralph just reported on Fox Footy that De Goey is expected to get at least 3 weeks for his bump yesterday so there's a really good chance he misses the clash against us.

Also, would be great if North could beat Essendon in this game and keep Essendon equal with us on 6 wins.

That Collingwood game I think will be more winnable than it looks, no De Goey, likely no Sidebottom either and at home as well.
Stealing a win like that would certainly make up for one of the losses early in the year against Freo or Essendon.

Bugger thought north were looking the goods too. Tarryn thomas clearly has some off field issues but gee he can play footy when in the right head space. Wardlaw is going to be a star also.

Wardlaw is Rowell Jnr, looking forward to when they play each other

De Goey suspended for 3 weeks and will miss the Suns match
Absolutely huge in the context of our season. He's been one of their very best players this year so knowing he won't be lining up for them at Heritage that night perhaps gives us a genuine chance. It's going to be a massive crowd for that one and we may very well be placed inside the top 8 by that point so we'll be desperate to keep our spot.

Do we dare to dream about securing a 9-6 record...? Let's focus on Carlton for now haha.

Based on previous years experience we are much more likely to be 6-9, so I am not even thinking about that.
Carlton are not going to be easy, at the MCG is a daunting task.

Hard to believe that we got spanked by both of these teams.

Shows just how long a footy season is.
I think we'd beat both of them if were playing tonight. Neither team is in great form and injuries have come into play for them. They're both just fortunate that they were able to bank some early wins and that's something we weren't able to do unfortunately.

A Swans win would suit us tonight. Keeps the Saints on 7 wins and within reach over the next fortnight when their bye comes into play. We want those 5th and 6th positions on the ladder to stay within reach for as long as we possibly can.
