i have been told i have osteitis pubis on the left side but i am totally confused and think bout it every second -
do i keep going doctors
do i just rest
really bugging me and i started pre season for footy tonight for 2008 and want to be fit and free from it

Any advice from ppl who have had it would be much appreciated and could give me some advice and tips on what to do

Rest up mate. Don't over do things. Even though you might have started pre season training which is really early. Don't go overdoing things because your groin can't take it.
 
Yeh mate i have it now. When you kick a footy does your leg/groin feel like it's going to fall off. Anyways best just to rest up and if it's like mine Just stop running and kicking the footy.

Osteitis Pubis basically means that the cartilage seperating the sections of your pelvis is moving/has been dis-placed.

Rest is the only way it will heal. It could take a good 6 months, it may take a month. Rest is the only way.
