Who are the players that you think could be drafted who aren't on the footydraft.com list and why.

Could be players on the "Other potential draftees" list, eg. James Barton.

I know...but they don't rate him to be picked in first 5 rounds. I was interested in people's thoughts on the "other potential draftees" and guys that didn't make the site (especially other screening camp invitees).

Look out for Lucas Barnes

He plays in the ametuers and I've heard that a few clubs have spoken to him.

Known as "Superboot" for the 60 metre raking kicks he is capable of and the very reliable torpedo he can produce.

Know there are a few VFL players mentiond on footydraft, however James Podsiadly was again overlooked. I seriously think clubs should have a look at him.
Barton went to my school and was known for his pace. Maybe his only slight weakness is overhead marking, however he will only get stronger and that will improve.

It is a joke that Marc Rovere from the Northern Knights isnt even in the other potential draftee's. Ask any club they all know him very well, has to be a chance.

You guys have to remember that all phantom drafts are just written by punters, take them with a pinch of salt.

You cant expect someone to know every good U18 yr old in australia, because were talking in the hundreds.

Im sure that every good player will have been looked at by afl clubs who have talent scouts in every part of australia.

The main thing to remember is that the kid's who chose not to try out for nationals or playing tac cup probably dont have the desire to make it at the top level, they are more interested at being stars in a country league or something, which is fair enough also.

Rudolph stiff to not be at least rookie listed a few years back. Kicking for goal not that great if I recall? Goes ok at both ends.

Rumour is that the Swans will rookie list Gary Jack's son. (Gary Jack is a former Australian Rugby League full back. His son played for the Rams this year).

Jackson barling is also another good footballer. Can play Centre Half Foward, Full Foward, Centre Half Back or Full Back. Is also very strong.
