Officially announced that Ottens has signed on for another 2 years (til the end of 2004).

This is really the shot in the arm we needed - to have a player of his ilk seeing his future with us instead of the lure of heading home.

Now all we need is for him to drag us to a premiership!

Otto Extends his contract.

Given Richmonds well publicised overtures to keep Gaspar and Ben Holland with fairly lucrative offers to stay with the club ,my only concern would would be that the club has not been put in a
position whre it has to pay plenty to keep Ottens and also Richo who has yet to sign.
I know that Richo's heart beats Richmond but the lure of big money can sway individuals .
I dont know how Ottens signing with the club for 2 years makes him a "true tiger",i thought Andrew Kellaway stating that he was overpaid and would play for far less was a far more powerful statement about where his loyalty is. Sure some cynics might say not many other clubs would want him,but when i see him play , i
know what he lacks in skill he makes up with a desire to wear the black and gold with pride .We need a few more like him.
Given all that, it is good to see Otto has signed with the tigers until 2004
