Yeah I think a few people are thinking pick #1 could be traded for two early picks. Pick #1 would be worth pick #5 plus #18 at best or maybe #9 & #10. I still don't like the idea splitting a high pick. If we had our second rounder I would consider packaging it to upgrade to give us a second first rounder though. Someone just needs to offer Mayne an insane contract to do that... if only but not going to happen

still remember Bernie Vince traded to the demons. Demons needed a 2nd rounder. Dockers got Colin Sylvia off them and demons got a 2nd round compo pick

exactly. everyone remembers bryce gibbs was the number 1 pick in the 2006 draft. no one remembers that scott gumbleton was pick 2 in 2006

We're not the same team we were 2 years ago either let's not forget. He wouldn't need to shut him out completely, just quell his influence at stoppages somewhat. Just playing devils advocate here.
