ok we know bevan, kennely and possibly fosdike are out so who will come into the team... will chambers get a gig... or richards who youd think will defintley play rd 1 in the absence of kennely. and also doyle who you think will play rd 1 and what about spriggs hes been in good pre season from he might be a chance

what about the youngsters like malceski, moore, mcveigh, vogels and also to a lesser extent scmidt and willoughby who you think would make there debut in 06

heres my rd 1 line up

please post yours

b:b matthews,L barry,T richards
hb:dempster,lrt,c bolton
c:williams,Buchanan,fosdike
hf:goodes,hall,o'keefe
f:schneider,O'loughlin,davis
foll:jolly, j bolton,kirk

inter:crouch,malceski,ablett,moore

emerg:vogels,chambers,spriggs

your thoughts ?

Vogels who has had some reasonable perfomances down back this pre-season, will probably play ahead of Moore, who on form isn't pushing for a round 1 berth

That team needs a second ruckman too so one of Doyle or Chambers will probably play, my personal preference is Doyle

Malceski may be the unlucky one

In the Daily Terror today, Roos pretty much said that Chambers and Richards will be 2 of the 3 changes (Ball retired, Kennelly and Bevan unavailable) from the GF team. So that probably means he's expecting Fosdike to play

Here's my team:
B: CBolton Barry Richards
HB: Mathews LRT Dempster
C: Crouch Ablett JBolton
HF: Davis Goodes Buchanan
F: O'Keefe Hall O'Loughlin
R: Jolly Williams Kirk
Int: Vogels Fosdike Chambers Schneider
Em: Moore Doyle Malceski

wouldnt be supprised if he plays 3 ruckman. Im scared of doyle getting on the field and getting injured straight away.

well chambers possibly..roos has hinted he wil play richards in chambers in rd 1 ...spriggs unlilely unless we get injuries to key midfielders between now and round 1

and tadhg has injured his shoulder and will be out til about rd 3

I don't think Dempster will be fit? Hammy.

Chambo, Eski or Moorey is really a toss up on whether they want the extra tall, Doyle, so he can play some forward line and possibly decide who they want longer term in the position.

Two Willos? He's getting a bit old for that.

Here you go-it was against Richmond at Carrara

This is from the Swans website:

A couple of injury concerns to Swans Fosdike (concussion) and premiership hero Leo Barry (bruised shoulder) - who came off in the third quarter - has given Sydney coach Paul Roos something else to think about as the Swans try to find some winning form in 2006.

"Leo (Barry) would have come back on if it was a game for premiership points and Fossy doesn't know where he is but he looks OK," was Roos' relaxed way of viewing the injuries and left it to the medical staff to decide if Fosdike would be available next week.

And he missed the game against St Kilda.

Again from the website:

Leo Barry was late withdrawal with a sore shoulder giving draftee Kristin Thornton his first opportunity to play with a full-strength side.
