Our chances of getting Robert Warnock are minimal due to the fact that Melbourne have the upper hand with them having pick 1 in the PSD and also a higher second round pick, also him wanting to be with his Brother.

Though apparently Johnathon Griffin wants to leave the Crows and Richmond have approached him and watched him in the SAFL in recent weeks, it was apparently reportet in some Adelaide paper (go on draft and trading there chatting about it)

i reckon this is a choice because, we could get him cheap and he has talent, lsiten to a few of these stats...

22 years old
twice knocked up 35+ hitous this year against H Mcintosh and a week C cloke/ Kruezer
202 cm
Bargain bargain bargain

obviously has talent, why not

I dont think he'll come as cheap as you're saying...
Tall, talented goalkicking young ruckmen aren't a dime-a-dozen, and crows will know he's worth an early second rounder or even a late first rounder.
And the thread by Big Cox is more than likely going to be BS...

How much did Brad Moran cost? Because I know former brisbane and now Magpie ruckman cam wood cost pick 16 or so. He arugable had done even less then what Griffen has done. He won't be very cheap I wouldn't imagine. Also, he is still very, very underweight and doesn't have a huge impact around the ground.

Lets not be stupid he isnt an amazing player doesnt offer that much around the ground. Moran has gone ahead of him he was traded for pick 38 from memory last year so i think our 3rd round being pick 42 is more than fair.

Having said this I dont want him I have decided.

Let's forget about trades (unless they are trades of players we don't need for picks) and let's just get the best players we can in the draft... it's been working for us so far.

looked pretty handy earlier on, can take a grab too...could do alot worse, a 3R at best though..or maybe a trade for pettifer...dont be suprised if we do get a trade for him

Griffin is a good ruckman. Still young and most Ruckman need til at least 25+ until they become consistently good.

I'd be happy if we went for him as long as it doesn't cost us too much. Maybe Meyer could be involved, he is from Adelaide.
