**** me you guys are special. He wanted us to get flogged to get the coach fired. He obviously doesn't believe the guy is any good so he wants him gone. I'm sure Ox would love for Neeld to magically transform into a guy who knows what he's doing but he probably doesn't have his head far enough up to arse to think it's a possibility.

I don't rate Neeld at all, but I never want to lose.

We all want the coach to succeed. We all wanted to beat Coll'wood today. But if we want to be honest with ourselves the bookies got it right with MFC odds, and probably will continue to get the odds right for the rest of the year - only a miracle would have seen MFC beat Coll'wood today.

So we can all argue about what Ox should/shouldn't have said, but at the end of the day what he said had no impact on the result. Unfortunately, Mark Neeld is unlikely to be a top line coach -but if there is a chance that he will be, how long should we be asked to wait for it to happen. I've followed MFC for 48 yrs so how many more 10+ goal losses should we have to suffer while being told to be patient? Except for Doggies supporters, we have been the most patient in the AFL. Problem is our % is pathetic and one of the worst in the last 10 years. If MFC was a corporate it's share price would have tanked and probably would have been taken over, the Board would have been sacked and the whole place would have been turned on its head. I think this is the worst I've seen things in my lifetime. As a start, surely Mark Neeld has to make way and the Board must be replaced.

in regardes to this, the OX he received a death threat from an angry Melbourne supporter over his article in the sun. alright i didn't agree with what he said, but whoever that person was, what a disgusting and despicable thing to do! The OX is a commentator and is entitled to his opinion, if you don't like it live with it there is no need to find the man number and threaten to kill him. I don't care how much frustration you feel this can not be justified and what you did was atrocious. to be supporter whom goes out and does this does not reflect the values and integrity of the club they support, they are not worthy to support the grand old flag!
